BRASH BAGS IIP BRONZE
After six years as an Investor in People, John Brash, the UK’s leading supplier
of roofing batten and scaffold boards, have been awarded a coveted Bronze Investor
In People Award.
John Brash was nominated for the Bronze Award, a step above the basic IIP Award,
following a routine assessment. The company had not applied for a review against
the higher Award, in view of the assessment results, they recieved the elevated
IIP status.
"Managers and staff are delighted that we have scored so highly, particularly
given the current challenging economic environment", explains Brash’s HR Manager,
Elaine Glew.
"We take a very focused, inclusive approach to upskilling our staff. Many are
now involved in Kaizen improvements, and trainer/mentoring and everyone’s fantastic
contribution has definitely helped us meet the economic challenges head on. Our
focus on continuous improvement, using our own people to share the skills and
knowledge we have across the business, continues to give us the edge over our
competitors".
