John Brash has supplied its JB Antislip Plus decking to help create a new landscaped public space outside of The Arc in Hull. The Arc is an independent organization that promotes and fosters quality in architecture and public space. JB Antislip Plus with two inserts per deckboard was specified to create a slip resistant and safe surface on what will eventually be a public art space adjacent to the main building. Antislip decking was specified as the building is located close to the mouth of the River Humber, which can sweep in wet weather from the North Sea, creating a potentially slippery surface.
