Project Information:  Western Red Cedar Shingles and JB-REDŽ Roofing Battens were used on the James Hayward Estate, providing a completely sustainable solution for the walls and roofs of these buildings.  Western Red Cedar Shingles complimented the monocoque design because their size and lightweight nature allowed them to follow the curves in this innovative building. The natural durability and longevity of shingles also enabled them to extend to the ground, enhancing the design purity of this unique and eye-catching shape.
